Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Certification Course
This is primarily an academic and practical workshop course. You will master the physics, safety protocols, and hands-on skills required to safely dive with enriched air mixtures containing 22% to 40% oxygen.
- The Science of Nitrox: Understand how modified gas fractions affect your body, depth limits, and overall dive profile.
- Managing Oxygen Exposure: Learn to calculate your Maximum Operating Depth (MOD) and Partial Pressure of Oxygen (ppO?) to prevent oxygen toxicity.
- Gas Analysis: Gain hands-on practice using an oxygen analyzer to verify the exact percentage of your cylinder mix before you dive.
- Cylinder Handling: Master proper tank labeling, oxygen logging, and essential safety protocols.
- Computer Integration: Learn how to correctly program your dive computer with your specific gas blend to maximize your safe bottom time.
