It's that time of year again!! It's our 26th Annual Special Olympics Benefit trip in Memory of Jim Haskins!!
26 years ago, our Founder, the late Jim Haskins approached Bob's Sea & Ski & our local State Representatives about doing a ski challenge between 2 cities...New Bedford & Fall River.
The challenge was to see who's city could raise the most dollars for Special Olympics! Jim & his wife, Denise were avid skiers & were instructors at Cranmore in the 80's. That event started w/ just 1 bus and now we have over 7 buses annually!!
Here's the scoop!...Over 400 skiers & riders will embark on the most memorable ski day of the season! Multiple buses will depart from Bob's Sea & Ski, Sagamore Mill Complex in Fall River, and the Muddy Moose Cafe in Tiverton and head to Loon Mountain Resort for this skiing event of the decade!
$99.95 will get you bus ride, lift ticket, breakfast, dinner, & event T-shirt. HUGE raffle in Govenors Lodge, Live Entertainment by the Bavarian Brothers, & just an all-around FUN DAY ALL while raising dollars & AWARENESS for our local Special Olympics Athletes!! Guests can meet & greet Special Olympics World Games Gold Medalist, Melissa Riley!
